2018 Nissan Maxima Performance
2018 Nissan Maxima Performance welcome to our site find great offers on Nissan’s full line of reliable sedans, versatile crossovers, capable trucks and SUVs. We like to ride the Maxima because it’s a convenient, button-down sedan with a few tricks in the sleeves. His lifeless steering is the big disappointment here, as the rest of the chassis setup of the Maxima is more likely to be taking. Maxima is quick and easy to get to your feet without going too far into the sports sedan. It offers a unique mix of comfort and athletics, which is why we are not surprised that Nissan introduced changes in the powertrain, suspension or brakes in 2018.
The Nissan Maxima 2018 is a vehicle that lets you take control of the road and look good. The new Nissan Maxima with its elegant chassis and list of performance enhancements that work well with powerful engines is sure to appeal. Read more to find out more!
The 2018 Nissan Maxima has a lot of power to offer, and it’s because of its strong V6 engine. Equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that is able to output the 300 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque, the new Nissan Maxima takes thrillingly to the next level. This engine is one of the strongest in the vehicle’s class, out-doing many of its most famous competitors. In addition, this engine offers great fuel economy, with 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
To complement its large engine, the 2018 Nissan Maxima also has many great features. These features are available to push out the maximum power that the brand new Nissan Maxima has to offer. An example of these performance-enhancing functions is the Xtronic CVT ® (steplessly controllable transmission), which improves stability and acceleration control.
In addition to this transfer, the 2018 Nissan Maxima also has an available drive mode selector that has both normal and sport modes. The available sports mode gives you the ability to adjust traction and change the way your engine works to give more power and performance.
Goose the gas to get in the traffic and Maxima reacts with taste. It’s a fast car, even if the standards of the car and the driver are met. On our test track, he made a 5.9-second zero to 60 miles per hour run and completed a quarter kilometre in 14.4 seconds at 101 miles per hour. The power is high at its maximum; in our motorway junction test, 50 to 70 km/h, it gives a 3.8-second, best-in-class result.
Maximium copes well with its size. The suspension is nicely sober and firm, perhaps too rigid for the class, especially for the level of finish of SR, feathers, shock absorbers and roller rods. It is relatively quiet, but strong shocks are felt in the suspension and can be heard in the cabin. Maxim shows the body’s insignificant role in aggressive cornering manoeuvres, and in our Maxima SR tests she easily attacked her rivals. Light and unclear in the default setting, the steering wheel becomes stronger when the sports mode is on, but does not provide additional feedback from the road.
XTRONIC CVT® (infinitely variable transmission)
Designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding enthusiasts, the next-generation Maxima Xtronic CVT offers dynamic gear shifting, wider gear coverage and an adaptive gear shift controller. The result is more networked, more temperamental driving – all without any impact on fuel consumption.
Fixed to the column Flap valves
The available spur gearboxes are mounted on the steering column, so they are always within easy reach – even in corners when the Maxima steering wheel is 90°, making the ideal gearbox just one finger away from the steering wheel.
Highest precision = Highest peace of mind
To ensure that the daily dose of endorphins derived from the performance, Maxima SR has the advanced technology of a unique integrated dynamic control module with intelligent trace control, intelligent motor brake and active drive.

Enjoy cornering with easy handling. Intelligent track control reads the situation and can brake each wheel individually if necessary to facilitate smooth cornering.

Get a softer deceleration when you turn around or stop. The intelligent engine brake uses CVT to apply the engine brakes and helps to avoid short-term braking. Do not allow the bag to overfly from the passenger seat.

Active travel control
Impact? What kind of impact? An active driving control can automatically apply the brakes and adjust the engine torque to smooth the ride and turn these mountains into a Mole’s mound.
