Following last year’s additions – which mainly consisted of swapping the 2021 model’s naturally aspirated four-cylinder for a turbocharged inline-three – we weren’t expecting any major changes for the Rogue 2023.
That said, Nissan is offering a Midnight Edition package on several other vehicles. We wouldn’t be surprised if this package – which typically adds black-painted alloy wheels and trims pieces – makes its way to the Nissan Rogue 2023.
The Rogue competes in one of the most crowded and competitive segments, with plenty of rivals from almost every mainstream automaker.
Some of Edmunds’ top picks include the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, and Subaru Forester, with the Rogue right there in the mix.

Nissan Rogue The 2023 compact SUV competes in one of the most contested segments and against similar family-friendly, 5-passenger rivals such as the Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, and Chevrolet Equinox.
Since this is Nissan’s best-selling model in the US, don’t look for radical changes to the Rogue 2023, which remains fresh from a redesign for 2021 and engine upgrades for 2022.
The Rogue’s attractive exterior styling has influenced the design of the larger 3-row Pathfinder SUV. It also received a significantly updated interior and has one of the largest cargo areas among compact SUVs.
From base S to Platinum, every Rogue trim comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque — both improvements over the previous 2.5-liter four-cylinder.
The tiny-but-powerful engine, with variable compression ratio, delivers good power through the Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission.
Front-wheel drive is standard and a better choice if you want the most MPG for your money, but you can get an all-wheel drive (AWD) in any trim for around $1,500.
Rogue 2023 ticks all the right buttons for SUV buyers who don’t want to be obliged to add an expensive option package for features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, satellite radio, rear-traffic alert, and automatic headlights. T

2023 Nissan Rogue Refresh
After coming out as a completely redesigned vehicle in 2021, we expect the Nissan Rogue 2023 to be a carryover model. The Rogue is still one of the newer options in the segment, so we don’t expect Nissan to make any major changes.
With a large cargo area, comfortable seats, and a long list of standard features, the Rogue continues to hold its own against the very best.
A complete redesign in 2021 results in a compact SUV with a fresh modern design. As a carryover model, the Rogue 2023 should maintain the same overall design.
Nissan’s V-Motion grille is prominently displayed at the front, leading to the daytime running lights located above the front fascia.
The headlights of the SUV are lower, in the middle of the front end. The result is a striking design. The rear of the Rogue is more elegant with the circular taillights and deep openings in the lift doors. The available black roof is another upscale touch.
On the inside, the current Rogue shares a family look with the Nissan sedan. This compact SUV has a simple design with well-labeled buttons and dials. The two-level dashboard has a section that juts out toward the passenger and blends seamlessly into the center console.
The center console has a large storage compartment under the shift knob, while the butterfly-style lid on the center console makes it easy for both driver and passengers to access.
The Rogue’s chunky steering wheel and shift knob fit give the cabin some modern flair. As a built-in model, the interior design of the Rogue 2023 should have the same overall look as the current model on sale.
The Rogue 2023 should come with the same technological features as the current SUV. An eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, two USB ports, four audio speakers, and Bluetooth should be standard.
The Rogue’s list of optional features should include a nine-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone compatibility, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, navigation, a wireless charging pad, and a Wi-Fi hot spot, and two rear USB ports.
For 2022, Nissan is out with a new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine for the Rogue. The engine is rated at 201 horsepower and is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional. We hope this powertrain will continue to be offered in the Rogue 2023.
Nissan offers the current Rogue with a long list of standard safety features. Pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear traffic warning, driver attention monitor, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beam assist are all standard.
Available safety features include a surround-view camera, front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane guard assistance, traffic sign recognition, heads-up display, and Nissan’s ProPilot Assist system.
The Rogue 2023 is expected to come with the same safety features as the current model.
2023 Nissan Rogue Redesign
In a recent update, the test mule of a small, redesigned crossover was picked up by a spy photographer who revealed its sleek new proportions.
But more importantly, how would it look without camouflage? Let’s peel back the patterns that strain the eye and explore further illustratively.
Like the latest Juke and the larger Rogue, the Sport sports bold new frontal graphics with boomerang-shaped dynamic LED headlamps, a V-Motion corporate grille, and a clamshell hood.
A must-see ‘SUV effect’ plastic cover around the lower air dam, wheel arch moldings, and rocker panels, while the side views are sculpted and toned without being too fussy.
There are hints of the Nissan Ariya EV towards the rear, with the rear quarter glass facing up and a thickly combed display panel with contrasting black trim.
Thin LED taillights stretch horizontally across the hold; although they won’t look as radical as the one seen on other Nissans of late.
Is Nissan Discontinuing the Rogue
Nissan will no longer offer a third-line Rogue version starting with the 2021 model year, Haslam said.
The company will continue to offer a more compact Rogue Sport. Prices for the Rogue 2020 range from roughly $ 25,300 to $ 33,000, according to car research site Edmunds.

The Nissan Rogue Sport is set to follow in the footsteps of its larger brother redesign, with a new version likely to arrive for the 2022 model year.
We’ve now got our first glimpse at the new Rogue Sports thanks to Nissan’s European arm, which has begun to tease the exterior and interior of the closely related Qashqai SUV.
The camouflaged Qashqai prototype seen here looks like a Rogue 2021 with a few stitches, as the front end has a similar headlight setup and the rear has a tapered greenhouse.
The new Rogue Sport will likely continue to be at the end of the larger subcompact SUV segment, just above the entry-level Kicks and below the compact Rogue.
Nissan is talking about the e-Power Qashqai and 12-volt hybrid drivetrains for the European market, but we anticipate that Rogue Sport will continue with a more conventional petrol engine in the US.
The naturally aspirated 2.0-liter or 2.5-liter inline-four engine is the most likely choice, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive or all – nothing revolutionary under the skin here.
Nissan Europe seems almost ready to reveal it all, but we haven’t heard from 2023 Nissan Rogue US about the arrival of the new Rogue Sport in our country. Stay tuned for more information on the new crossover in the first half of 2021.

Gasoline power will be the main driving source since launch. The current model’s 2.0-liter inline-four will be carried along with Nissan’s not-so-preferred continuous variable transmission (CVT).
The conjecture suggests that a 48-volt mild-hybrid option and a plug-in hybrid will be available on the track, highlighting the Japanese manufacturer’s push toward electrification and gradual discontinuation of diesel in certain markets.
Nissan Rogue 2023 Dimensions

2023 Nissan Rogue Sport
The Nissan Rogue Sport, which fits into the narrow niche between the Kicks and the Rogue, is the latest model from the Japanese automaker to receive an overhaul.
While this compact crossover has an even weirder name (Qashqai) in Europe, much of it—including its sharp styling—had to carry over to our market. However, one thing that won’t happen is a hybrid powertrain.
We anticipate the US model will feature a gasoline-powered four-cylinder engine. At least Nissan will offer buyers a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
And to complement its new exterior, the Rogue Sport offers a modern cabin with updated infotainment technology. Expect to see the revamped crossover in dealerships sometime in 2022 as the 2023 model. The
Rogue Sport will be completely redesigned for 2023, with a sharper styling and a more modern interior.
Nissan hasn’t released pricing or trim level information for the 2023 model, but we expect to see the S, SV, and SL Rogue Sport trims coming out updated.
Prices should remain relatively flat as well, with the base model starting at around $25,000. As we get more information, we’ll update the story.
Although other markets will receive the hybrid model, the US Rogue Sport will likely continue to use a gasoline-powered four-cylinder engine.
We anticipate Nissan will pair this engine exclusively with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) but offer buyers a choice of front-drive or all-wheel drive.

2022 Nissan Rogue Sport
The 2022 Rogue Nissan Sport is the big brother of the Rogue, but it doesn’t benefit from the more modern equipment and design of the big brother, it uses many of the same styling and features of the last generation Rogue SUV, and indeed ‘comes only with an anemic 2.0 cylinder Quattro engine. . The SV offers an excellent balance of value and functionality. While most will opt for a front-wheel-drive model, all-wheel drive is available for an additional fee if you experience bad weather to justify the price difference.

2021 Nissan Rogue
The Rogue is Nissan’s best-selling vehicle and one of the most popular small SUVs on the market.
We love the 2014-2020 Rogue for its usability, passenger comfort, and value, although we eventually found that rival SUVs put more emphasis on performance and quality, and now Nissan wants to grab your attention even more with a completely redesigned Nissan. Rogue 2021.
The new Rogue has a more distinctive exterior design, punctuated by a more square front end, and easily recognizable LED headlight markings. The biggest changes are in the interior, especially in the new Platinum trim level.

2023 Nissan Rogue Concept
The Nissan crossover SUV we know as the Rogue Sport answers the name of Qashqai in other markets.
Now that Nissan has released the latest generation of Qashqai, we can say with fair confidence that it will almost certainly check out the upcoming 2023 Nissan Remog, which is also upgraded.
Despite the different names, Qashqai’s body will probably move almost unchanged to the new Rogue type, which we expect to reach our shores before the end of the year. This is also a good thing because the Qashqai is a small and very nice SUV.
With Nissan’s newest design language, Qashqai 2022 is an eye-catcher that combines the various stylistic details of many Nissan products. Qashqai’s window line is similar to the Nissan Aria 2022 electric SUV, while the headlights are similar to the Nissan Armada 2021 SUV and the Nissan Pathfinder 2022 SUV.
As before, Qashqai’s dashboard design follows a compact-sized Rogue design. The 9.0-inch high information screen is located above the easy-to-decode climate control, while the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and the 10.8-inch head display place information more closely related to the driver’s line of sight.
If the feature content of the Rogue 2021 is everything, we imagine that an 8.0-inch touch screen and the analog meter will come as standard in the lower models of the new Qashqai and Rog Sport.
Also, Nissan will almost certainly limit the crossover-crossover display to the luxurious finish of the small SUV.
While the Qashqai relies on a 1.3-liter turbo engine with a moderate 12-volt hybrid system or an electric propulsion system with a small gas engine used as a generator, the Nissan Rog 2023 may ignore this option.
The current model version is a 2.0-liter 2.0-liter petrol engine with 141 hp cheaper and more straightforward.
We expect Nissan to offer the next Rogue type with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Roja with 181 hp more power as an option. Expect Nissan to share more details on the revamped Rogue Sport in the coming weeks or months.

I’m not going to mince my words here – I think the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid looks awesome.
This is the best app of Nissan’s new design language, with sharp lines, a fairly clean surface, and lots of interesting details.
It fits perfectly with other recently redesigned Nissan SUVs like the Rogue and Pathfinder, and also takes inspiration from the futuristic Ariya EV.
The front is dominated by a large V-Motion grille and thin LED matrix headlamps, and I especially like the name 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid printed on the front fender. Nissan’s floating roof design is also ubiquitous, with five different two-tone finishes available.
On the inside, the influence of Rogue was immediately visible. It looks much more luxurious than the previous generation, with nicer materials and more refined design touches.
The 9-inch touchscreen has navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay wireless, and there’s a configurable 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
Other available technologies include a 10.8-inch head-up display, smart home connectivity, and key phone functionality. The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid is even available with a massage chair!

Is There A Nissan Rogue Hybrid
2023 The new Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid drives the Renault-Nissan CMF-C platform, which also supports the recently revealed Rogue and Mitsubishi Outlander.
It’s 1.4 inches longer than the older model as a whole, with a 0.8-inch longer wheelbase, and the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid is also slightly taller and wider.
The space for rear passengers has increased, there is more cargo space and the rear doors are now open to 90 degrees.
It’s available with 20-inch wheels for the first time, and models with those wheels (or AWD) get a multilink rear suspension setup. Nissan says the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid is lighter, stiffer, and more fun to drive than the old one.
Two powertrains will be available in Europe initially. The base engine is a 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharger with a standard light hybrid system; available with 138 or 156 horsepower, six-speed manual or CVT, and front or all-wheel drive.
Even more interesting is the E-Power model, which pairs a 1.5-liter gas engine with an electric motor. As in cars like the Chevy Volt, the engine produces power exclusively from the electric motor, with the front wheels being driven by electricity only.
This setup makes 187 hp, and Nissan says it gives the 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid EV characteristics without the need for charging – it even has single-pedal drive via regenerative braking.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid is also available with Nissan’s ProPilot suite of driver assistance systems. Adaptive cruise control has a stop-and-go function and uses navigation data and speed limit info to adjust speed accordingly, both in straight lines and around narrow bends and exits.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid also has lane guard assistance, rear traffic alerts, automatic emergency braking that can now detect two cars ahead, and a “wing protection” system that sounds like a nicer parking sensor.
As I said at the top of the story, we don’t yet know which of the powertrains and features the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid will make its way to the Rogue Sport in our US market.
It’s probably unlikely that the E-Power model and the fancier options like massage chairs and HUDs will be available here, but we’ll be hopeful anyway.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid will reach dealerships in Europe in a few months, and the US Rogue Sport will debut in the first half of this year.
2023 Nissan Rogue Models
We expect the 2023 model will have the same lineup and we will update this section once we have complete information.] The Nissan Rogue 2023 is a small five-passenger SUV sold in four trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

- Rear passenger safe exit system (can prevent rear passengers from opening the door to oncoming traffic from behind)
- Rear automatic braking ( brakes if sensors detect an imminent collision with an object behind the vehicle)

2023 Nissan Rogue Release Date
In terms of pricing and release schedules, there is still no official sales date for the Nissan Rogue 2023, but we are predicting the arrival of summer or fall 2022 based on the previous release schedule.
